Tim has a deep desire to contribute back to the community that his family calls home. As a Councilmember and local businessperson, Tim is knowledgeable about economic issues, and follows with great interest all aspects of local and state government. Tim has a reputation for searching out a balanced approach to solving challenges, a willingness to dive in no matter how complex the issue, and a leadership style that seeks to unite people toward accomplishing positive goals.
Service and Leadership
From being an Eagle Scout to serving now as your Concord City Councilmember, service-oriented leadership has always been a huge part of Tim's daily life. Tim grew up in a family that was active in City and Service organizations, and serving the community was instilled as a family value. Tim has continually sought out roles of great leadership and service, while always working to make his community a better place.

Past-President and Founder, Todos Santos Busienss Association Arts Foundation
Founded the TSBA Arts Foundation with the mission to support, promote, and celebrate the arts and culture of Concord; create a strong, stable, and diverse cultural sector, and contribute to the quality of life and economic vitality of the Concord community.
Event founder and director of 2014 Concord July 4th Festival and Fireworks where I worked with the City of Concord, the Mt. Diablo Unified School District, multiple community partners, and local businesses to raising funds and organize this inaugural event. The event would benefit over 12,000 people from not just the City of Concord, but the surrounding region.

As a Commissioner, Tim has worked on projects such as a complete rewrite of the City of Concord’s development code, The Naval Weapons Reuse Plan and its implementation into the General Plan, and multiple projects throughout the City.

Worked closely with local elected officials, their staffs, the City of Concord Redevelopment Agency and the City Manager’s Office to strategize business development in Concord.

Organized multiple fundraisers and activities to benefit community partners; chartered a new Key Club at Concord High School.

Work with Local Small Businessness owners to evaluate risks for eligibility, provide Loss Control services, conduct trainings, and assist State Farm Agents on how to help their customers manage the risk of doing business on a daily basis, recover from the unexpected, and plan for the future.
